Bio

Alex Farling, a current co-founder at Empath, brings a novel perspective to continuous learning and education in the MSP community. His journey includes a previous role as co-founder of Lifecycle Insights, culminating in a successful exit in 2023, and owning an MSP, which successfully exited in 2020. 

With over two decades of experience in the MSP industry, Alex specializes in boosting the efficiency of vCIOs and Account Managers. He is adept at creating processes that cover the entire client lifecycle, from the initial sale to long-term client success. The vision behind both Empath and Lifecycle Insights stems from challenges Alex identified in his own MSP experience and has struck a chord with others in the community. 

Alex’s dedication to nurturing an ever-evolving MSP community is grounded in his 16+ years as an MSP owner. This role and his experience working with 1100 MSPs at Lifecycle Insights has given him an in-depth understanding of the industry and its challenges. Beyond his contributions to MSP growth, Alex commits his time to working with early-stage startups as an advisor and angel investor. Outside of his professional life, he enjoys playing volleyball and treasures moments with his fiancée, Jess, and their dog, Thor.
